The accommodation, comprising living room, bedroom (in one flat a bed-sitting room), fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with shower, has been refurbished in 2004 to an extremely high standard. Each unit has full gas central heating and is fitted with with fridge, washing machine/dryer, carpets and window blinds. There is an attractive communal courtyard garden. 
The St Giles Almshouses do not have a warden, but a Careline alarm service is in operation.
MIGHT I QUALIFY FOR RESIDENCE? Eligible applicants must be women, aged 60 or over, of limited financial means, (the founding deed requires the trustees to give preference to widows), who have lived or worked in the Bloomsbury area for at least ten years.
Eligible applicants will be interviewed by the trustees, and appointment is at the trustees’ discretion.
