St Giles-in-the-Fields Parochial Charities
Welcome! We administer two charities with historic links with the churches of St Giles-in-the-Fields and St George’s Bloomsbury, London.
The St Giles-in-the-Fields & Bloomsbury United Charity (Charity Registration No: 1111908) for relief of poverty, and
the St Giles-in-the-Fields & William Shelton Educational Charity for the promotion of education (broadly defined) (Charity Registration No: 111907)
Our origins date from the fifteenth century. We make a range of grants to support individuals, projects, organisations and schools. Our main areas of activity are in promoting education and relieving need. The United Charity also administers St Giles-in-the-Fields Almshouses, situated just off Drury Lane, Covent Garden.
